Platform – the website lumosweddingscroatia.com and/or the corresponding mobile application.
Service Provider – a person who provides event-related services via the Platform.
Services – photography/filming services for various events (weddings, baptisms, birthdays, family photo sessions, etc.).
Client – a natural person who uses the Services of the Service Provider.
Potential Client – a user of the Platform who has not yet used the Services of the Service Provider but has contacted them via the Platform’s messaging system.
Platform Owner – Oplemento d.o.o.
The Lumos Platform serves as an intermediary between Service Providers and Clients interested in event services.
By paying for services via the Platform, the Client accepts the following provisions:
By selecting and paying for a chosen service, the Client enters into a contractual relationship with the selected Service Provider, not with the Platform Owner.
The Platform Owner does not provide the Services but acts solely as an intermediary between Clients and Service Providers promoted through the Platform. The Service Provider expressly authorizes the Platform Owner to collect payments from Clients on their behalf and for their account.
The price of the service is determined by the Service Provider in agreement with the Platform Owner.
The Platform Owner cannot be held responsible for the quality of the service provided by the Service Provider or for any damage resulting from the use of the service.
The Platform Owner does not verify whether the Service Provider operates legally or holds all required permits and legal authorizations to provide the services offered via the Platform.
The Client releases the Platform Owner from any liability and claims, proceedings, losses, or damages arising from the use of the Service Provider’s services via the Platform.
If the Client cancels the scheduled session less than 3 (three) days before the agreed date, or fails to contact the Service Provider at the scheduled time due to their own fault, they lose the right to a refund. If the Client cancels the session at least 3 (three) days before the agreed date, they are entitled to a refund, reduced by 10% of the paid amount due to refund processing costs.
A Potential Client undertakes to conduct all communication with the Service Provider, until becoming a Client, exclusively via the Platform’s messaging system.
The Client undertakes to schedule all future sessions with the Service Provider contacted through the Platform exclusively via the Platform and to make payments to the Platform Owner, who receives funds on behalf of and for the account of the Service Provider.
If the Client does not receive the agreed and paid service at the scheduled time due to the Service Provider’s fault, they must immediately notify the Platform Owner via email. The Service Provider must then provide the service at a later date agreed directly with the Client. If the Service Provider still fails to provide the service, the Client is entitled to a full refund without deduction.
The Platform Owner reserves the right to review messages exchanged between Service Providers and Clients outside scheduled sessions for quality control purposes.
The Platform Owner has no access to sessions between Service Providers and Clients and does not supervise communication during those sessions.
The Platform Owner retains copyright over all proprietary content (texts, images, video and audio recordings, databases, and program code).
Downloading any part of the website, images, parts or entire texts for commercial, educational, or other purposes is prohibited, except for personal use. Prior approval from the Platform Owner is required for any other use of Platform content.
Unauthorized use of any part of the Platform without permission from the copyright owner (Platform Owner, partners, users, etc.) is considered a copyright infringement and is subject to legal action.
The Platform Owner is not aware of potential copyright infringements. If you notice such a violation, please notify us immediately so we can respond appropriately. The Platform Owner is not liable for potential copyright violations but will take appropriate measures if such violations are confirmed.
Users are allowed to use the Platform content in good faith. All visitors have the right to use the Platform content as long as they do not violate the terms of use.
All content is used at the user’s own risk, and the Platform Owner cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from its use.
It is strictly forbidden to post content that constitutes hate speech, intolerance, insults dignity, or in any way degrades other persons. Such content will be deleted without prior notice.
The Platform Owner may deny the right to present, advertise, or access the Platform for any reason deemed justified. This may be done without prior notice, although an explanation will be provided where possible.
The Platform Owner may refuse or modify any content posted on the Platform in accordance with editorial policy, also without prior notice, with explanations provided where possible.
No part of the Platform may be used for illegal purposes.
